Welcome to Early Childhood Programs
Early Childhood Program
Early Childhood Programs within Millard Public Schools include programs for children and their families, prior to a child entering Kindergarten.  Each program is designed to achieve success through developmentally appropriate instruction by Highly Qualified staff. The Nebraska Department of Education identifies these children as those who have not reached the age of five on or before October 15th of that school year.  Our Early Childhood Programs include:

·         Title I/Parent Pay Preschool  (Provides a quality preschool environment for 4-year-olds who will attend Kindergarten the following year.)

·         Montessori Preschool  (Provides a hands-on learning environment for 3- and 4-year-olds that is consistent with Dr. Montessori’s philosophy.)

·         Early Childhood Special Education Program  (Provides services for children with speech, language, learning, and physical delays, birth up to Kindergarten age.)

·         Family Resource Center  (Provides toys, parenting materials, and other resources through a lending library.)

·         Partners with Providers  (Provides preschool activities through a visitation program to family childcare providers utilizing the Parents as Teachers Program.)
